Save your money & don't buy.
I got this at the end of Dec, 2021, so I have it for about 2 months. I have used this only 3-4 times and have been keeping it very well. But now the tester unit is faulty, I can't test anything with it.. While I am testing a stone, the needle goes all the way to "diamond" & it stays there. When I turn off the machine, the needle goes back all the way to the left "glass". But as soon as the red light stops blinking, the needle goes all the way back to the right "diamond" again. It stays there & won't move anywhere while the machine is on. I don't think the problem is the probe because it's the same even when the probe is disconnected.

Probe no longer works after 1 1/2 months and light usage
Bought 12/21. By mid-January, the needle would go to the diamond/Moissanite setting when it started up, but it still read accurately on previously-tested gemstones. Today, I turned it on, it did go to the glass area, then swung back to the diamond area, but it no longer reads any stones or glass. I don't know if the probe no longer works, or just the tip is damaged. I've not used it a lot, and have been careful with it. After spending so much for it, this angers me. Inaccurate readings.
I'm not sure if all presidium gem tester two's are the same, but the one I received couldn't make up it's mind on what gem it was reading. I tested gemstones over and over and kept getting different readings. Before I returned it, the reading stuck all of the way to the right and wouldn't come back.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Well like some mine quit working after about 2 months and I was bummed but it dawned on me that the tip might just be dirty so I sprayed a little alcohol on the tip, wiped it off and waited a few minutes and turned it back on and it works great again!
