Great App for gathering information at a quick glance
Excellent product, has many more items that you can set up on one or two more optional screens such as GPS, GPS marking locations, speed water temperature engine temperature oil pressure, gallons used, gallons used per hour engine RPM and many more items. This unit only works while the engine is running otherwise you have no ability to see any information. Installation is super easy small unit plugs into the engine with one plug. Unit is held in place by included wire ties and one screw. Installation time less than five minutes and easily accomplished by boat owner with little or no experience. Please see photos showing where the unit was mounted and the only one plug that needs to be connected. My finger points to unit and where it is plugged into the motor for information gathering ... The application that you install on the phone has a limitation, in that when you have large fonts selected on your phone you will not be able to see the connect button at the bottom of the display, which connects the dongle via your bluetooth to your phone. This caused me many hours of aggravation trying to find out why it would not connect. It connects fast and strong on the 17 foot boat with the 40 hp 4 stroke. My boat does not have gauges so this fits the bill and it can pull fault codes. RPM’S update pretty fast. The speed data is pretty close to my GPS. The hour meter and maintenance data is nice so you know when to do needed service. Great Idea, Needs Info
Great product, like car OBD(on board diagnostic). However some more information needs to accompany product. Hard to find answers. If you have a brand new engine, does not work until you run the engine. Mounting is a guess, no exacting info of safest or not safe place to mount.

Product worked as intended. Gives great information that is not already available on gauges installed on the boat. The trouble code feature is worth the cost of the unit as it allows you to quickly see specific code information when alarms occur. In the longrun, the unit pays for itself.
