A23 batteries ... small, but very effective!
A23 batteries bought for a push-button doorbell with a mains-powered ringer inside the home - just the right size needed, easy to replace in the doorbell and they last for years. (Not all push-button doorbells use these batteries so you need to check which battery you need first, as some are the flat lithium types.) It's a battery
What can one say about a battery? It is a cylinder with two ends and a middle, designed to fit in a receptical with a contact at each end. It comes full of little electrons which somehow manage to find their way into the device being powered and it does the job it was intended to do. A pack of two with a shelf life of five years being used in a device whiere the battery will hardly ever be used so by the time the first battery is exhausted the second will be life expired. It seems a bit pointless to be honest, but it would be churlish to refuse. These are Duracell - you either believe their adverts with the pink rabbit or you don't, but they are the brand leader so you get a decent product. The batteries are well packed (so you know they have not been tampered with) and they have a long shelf life. That's good as this battery is usually used 1 at a time so the second one will survive in the kitchen draw or wherever you put it. The review rules say don't talk about price but that's daft.
