    At first when I received it, I was quite worried... it didn't work on two external SSD enclosures or the Steamdeck it had been bought for. BUT it simply needed to be initialized ( either in Windows or SteamOS Desktop ). After that, it went smoothly and I was able to re-image the deck with a fresh system install. 1.8TB of available space, which leaves a lot of place to install AAA games ( and with an extra Micro SD I have all the games I want with me ). NB: very well packaged and protected!

    Recommended Steam Deck Upgrade Option

    This drive is an awesome upgrade for the Steam Deck. This product did come as described and installed incredibly easy. I would recommend this drive upgrade to anyone using a Steam Deck, especially someone who has a large Steam library. I love being able to play any of my AAA title games on the go. Great investment for any Steam Deck user.

    Upgraded my Steam Deck to run windows faster

    Installed it on my 512GB steam Deck to upgrade the capacity and partitioned it so I can run windows under dual boot. It's working fantastic and it's much faster than my micro SD card running Windows 10 pro. installation was painless and simple enough for a techy like me. Genshin Impact now loads much faster than when it was on a microSD card.

    Great little drive.. m.2 2242 sizes are not plentiful.. this is actually 2230 with an adapter to fit in 2242. Few minor hiccups but drive works well
