It was joyous to see it making ice after just spending 15 minutes taking out the old one and installing the new one. The instructions which came with it are not the most helpful, as it says to use the old wiring but it comes with new wiring which works just fine. Also ignore the signage on the plastic cover which shows the metal bar for turning it on and off. Works fine with the optics.
