    Item as described, recently used, worked as intended. The tip should be made of stronger material other than advertised plastic yet tested to withstand seconds of desolder heat temperatures. Highly recommended seller and thanks for the custom.

    It worked. It had been too many years since I'd used this type of equipment. I was initially worried about melting the plastic nozzle with the soldering iron. Then when I found that it hadn't melted, I realised that it was made of silicon or a similar high temp melt plastic. It did the job.
