I think the 20” aluminum combo shovel is the best I have ever seen. I live on a farm and need a high quality item that will last. The potential problem with the screws holding the shovel and handle together is easily solved. I put two metal hose clamps over the tops of the screws tightly. This squeezes the outside part together and prevents the screws from coming out. See the picture,. If they ever did come out, one could drill holes through the handle and put small bolts through, along with the hose clamps. The snow sticking problem can be solved by spraying teflon spay on the shovel, like that is made for coating the underside of lawn mowers. One should also store the shovel outside, so it is the same temperature as the snow, which helps with the sticking. I have had many plastic shovels, They all eventually crack. Check Home Depot or Ace. They have it for $39.00Read full review
