Nice looking thermometer, but not accurate
I have to believe that these thermometers that measure your forehead temperature are not the most accurate. I spent a lot of money on this one, overpaid on eBay of course due to the pandemic, and even though I use it per the instructions, I get temps that don’t make sense. Our family runs from 97.9 to 100.2 today, but using your hand as a guide I can tell that we’re all normal temperature. Temperature fluctuations from minute to minute and day to day are pretty large. I just have zero confidence that this thing is giving accurate readings. If you’re trying to use this to detect a low grade fever, good luck. Not recommend unless you want a Braun one
I personally like its design. However, no storage for the thermometer is provided; I hope it includes a storage for the thermometer. Moreover, you have to choose age setting every time you turn the power on and use it. There are cheaper versions of this kind of thermometers. As long as you read instructions, great thermometer. Person needs to be adjusted to room temp for 10 min prior to use . If thermometer was not in room temp for same amount of time .
