The best, so easy
We had a MyGenie ZX1000 for the last 3 years and one of the wheels stopped working but other than that it was fantastic. So this time we thought we'd get another one seeing it was so reliable but this one, if its a more improved version, is so, so much more better. It's quiet, you hardly notice it's running. It's is so gentle when contacting obstacles you have to wonder did it even touch the obstacle. We named our new robot vacuum cleaner after our original one with a twist "Roachy 2.0" and wouldn't change him for the world. Did not have enough room to use use it.
I was looking forward to using the MyGenie automatic cleaner as it sounded really good, but there was one thing missing in the description, how much room you need for the docking/charging station. Luckily I read the instructions before unpacking the automatic cleaner. If you have a small unit/apartment with a lot of furniture you need to allow for 1 metre clearance on either side, plus 2 metres in front of the docking station, for the cleaner to find it's way back to the docking/charging station. Regrettably I did not have enough open areas to place this and had to return it. So unfortunately I could not rate this fairly. I was looking forward to using the MyGenie automatic cleaner as it sounded really good, but there was one thing missing in the description, how much room you need for the docking/charging station. A helpful product to have in the house.
The Genie is quiet and effective. I do need to be doing something in its vicinity (reading, ironing) to move it if it gets stuck. It can't handle getting up onto a thick rug and doesn't move well on my bedroom carpets which are quite thick. However I have a large area of bare boards and hair from a large black dog which the Genie is great with. It has reduced the time I spend sweeping and vacuuming by half.
