    Great laptop for its price

    I've been daily driving this laptop for work and so far no issues encountered. I am writing this review using the laptop itself and I have no complaints regarding the performance, hardware, and included software. I was able to log in using my Microsoft account and the device updated automatically afterward. I was also able to install software that I needed with ease. The CPU, 16GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, and the built-in graphics are more than enough for my work tasks. The laptop is made of plastic so it's expected that it's not as durable as laptops made with aluminum but that makes it lighter and more portable. As a refurbished laptop, it's of good quality and almost feels like new. My only gripe is that battery life is shorter at just around 6 hours compared to the reported on new laptops at ...

On top of the issues with the laptop, the 2 year Allstate Warranty website doesn't work. I wouldn't risk buying a refurbished item from Acer. It's not worth it.

    Great for the price

    Bought 2 of these for my daughter's homeschooling. They've also played light games such as ROBLOX. The amount of RAM, storage capacity and processor are more than adequate for their needs. Will test Fortnite on it and update review if possible. Products arrived within the expected timeframe, in great protective packaging.

    START UP TIME CONSUMING AND ANNOYING WITH NO SOUND

    This particular Acer Aspire 3 has a number of problems that I try to overlook. Every time I sit to work and turn the system on ... I worry that it will not start. Starting the system has caused me hours of angst and seeking assistance from the internet. Unfortunately, taking the machine apart as recommended on YouTube was not within my skill level. Then I shook the machine -- I am 84 so the shake was not extreme and suddenly in started to recycle, looking for updates, installing updates and finally it started up. That discouraged me from ever actually turning it off either by button or my command. Troublesome. Sound is all but not available. Apparently, the process of restoring the device was not very thorough. I had feared that originally. I have neither time nor finances for a new ...
