Awesome cleaning power and easy to use
Never used a Shark product before, and if the current performance continues I won't buy another brand ever again! First off, it was delivered in less than 24 hours - great start! It was advertised as refurbished, but each part was individually wrapped and absolutely immaculate - as good as new. Assembly took all of 20 seconds as an excellent manual was included and each button, switch or catch is individually labelled telling you what it does anyway! Brilliant! In use, it is SO quiet and light, with a swivel head that allows manoeuvring around objects with ease. But the best part was its cleaning power. I have two long-haired dogs that deposit enough white fur and fluff to knit a pullover each week, and my previous vacuum cleaners have struggled with this, so I wasn't expecting miracles with this Shark product, but I was completely wrong. I tried it on its lowest suction power setting and it removed every single hair from my carpets, together with an embarrassingly large amount of dust and debris. I am seriously impressed with my new Shark and very glad I purchased it. What a shame Shark don't make carpet washers - I imagine they would be awesome!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Cleans well, Would like longer cleaning hose.
Good product but I do find it takes quite a bit of strength to push it around the carpets as opposed to my old cleaner. Cleaning hose, when taken out of the handle, is not long enough and pulls the machine over easily. Good long electric cable and it is easy to clean out.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fantastic hoover
Just want to start by saying i read the reviews before I purchased this hoover and they were all spot on...it has unbelievable suction and really light...I have always used another brand with the ball on as I never had a problem with them but my bedroom carpet just didn't look clean after hoovering it! So I took a pop at buying the shark...and I was shocked at how much better my carpet looked and gobsmacked at the amount of dust it picked up..I have a clean house so was very surprised by what I seen...and just wanted to add that my old hoover had filters changed and cleaned over the course of its life...this shark hoover is lightweight given that it is a good size and is very quiet when turned on...would highly recommend this to anyone who like me used a different brand for yearsVerified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Best vacuum cleaner ever.
This is honestly the best vacuum cleaner I have ever used. It has a nice strong suction, without being hard to push and pull, it gets into all the edges and the lift away function is absolutely brilliant, especially when vacuuming the stairs. The tools are good and easily stored and accessed. Emptying is really easy and the filter is quickly washed and dried on a radiator. Better than the other big name
Had the other well known vacuum. But it kept breaking down every time I used it on very fine dust or beach sand.( I live by the sea). So I went for this after seeing it one day. I'm glad I did. As much power as the other brands if not more. Quieter while in operation. Much easier to empty the dust. Picks up a much wider range of particles without cutting out. You can't get better than this
This is my second shark....never thought they would make one better than the one I allready have but this one is somthing else.....best cleaner I've ever had by a mile......ide never use another brand .....only shark....solid well made with exceptional features and performance and the suction is by far superior to any other cleaner on the market.....ide ordered this at 1.30pm on a Sunday and it was at my door 12.30pm monday.....they must of shot it over on a catapult or somthing.....ide couldent fault the cleaner or the service if I tried....there's a couple of reviews that complain about the length of the hose....ideas a lift off...the hose is a very comfortable size in my opinion....if you are thinking of getting one of these .....go for it....100% you will not be disappointed....it's awsome...the rolls royce of vacuums for sure...Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Superb ‘upgrade’ from another Cyclone manufacturer...
Simply brilliant. The suction is in a different league to our 8 year old Cyclone multi-floor which, even with clean filters etc, is no comparison. Medium size, and suction is strong, so a bit of a workout, but not any heavier than our old Cyclone. Easy to use, break into components etc. In a word, wish we had arrived at Shark sooner. Shark vacuum - Love, love, love
This is my second Shark vacuum and it feels very sturdy, as well as doing a bang up job! My previous Shark was cordless so very convenient but not as powerful as this one. I LOVE Shark vacuums and my only comment re this one is that it could have had a longer power lead. Apart frpom that it is versatile, powerful, easy to use and all-round excellent! Better than my Dyson
I've been a Dyson owner for years but, having been stuck with 2 different models because the cordless V8 just couldn't clean my sculptured rugs effectively, I decided to try the Shark based on customer reviews. What an absolute godsend! It's much lighter and easier to use than my DC55 and it cleans my rugs just as effectively. It's easy to empty, although the dust cannister is small, and having the tools on board is also extremely useful. It's also considerably quieter than my previous vacuums. My partner loves the fact he can detach the main body easily and walk around with it doing the smaller jobs and, quite frankly, anything that means he does more housework is going to get 5 stars from me!
