Short battery Life! Dust bin fills up fast
I recieved the iRobot refurbished roomba at the beginning of the year. Spec is 90 minutes run time. The bast run time I have recorded is 43 minutes on a replacement battery under warranty. The collection bin fills up very fast (my dog has long hair) once the bin is full It keeps running and leaves the remaining dog hair in rolled up clumps that it can't pickup once the bin is emptied. So I have to use a bristol brush vacuum to pickup the clumps of hair.i did have a 650 series and it was a much better vacuum. Run time was 90 minutes. The brush was always needing to be cleaned of dog hair (more maintenance but still did a better job than the E6.97Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Great cleaning time saver
I love that it gives me updates to my phone and that it links to Alexa. I have a lot of allergies so it's great that I can schedule it to run every day to keep dust and dirt under control. This is the first Roomba's we've owned, so the fantastic deal on the refurbished model was a great start. We just love them, have one upstairs and one downstairs. The only downsides to these older models is it goes in random patterns instead of straight rows, it gets caught on the bathroom rugs (so we have to remember to pick them up) and you need to manually empty them and make sure you have the floor as free from objects as possible and cords up/tucked away. Someday I hope to update to a newer model when I can afford it. We tell everyone that we have maids, we've named them Rosie (for the robot maid from the Jetsons) and Alice (from the maid on the Brady Bunch). Love not having to vacuum (except for the stairs), fantastic time and allergy saver! Only wish the filters were washable.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished

Great time saver and keeps my floors clean
It does a pretty good job of picking up dirt off wood, tile, and carpet. Sometimes it gets stuck trying to roll over the thresholds from one room to another because they are about 5/8" high to cross over. I guess it's the angle at which the roomba takes to get over it. I can't seem to get it to connect with my internet. I'm still trying to figure that out. I don't have a problem manually pushing the clean button. Great little vacuum for the price
Vacuuming has been the chore that has been the bane of my existence. I'll dust, I'll wash, I'll mop, but I Hate to vacuum. It's loud and endless and I was more than happy to outsource it to a little robot. She does pretty well maneuver around ~1000 square feet of my house, in and out of all the rooms. She definitely doesn't get every room every day, but since she runs 5 days a week she eventually gets to all of it and does an excellent job. Truly horrifying how much cat litter and hair is picked up daily (I only have one cat). I do have to empty the bin about every other day, but I'm much happier to do that than vacuum myself more than once a week. She handles the obstacles of the house well, even the fringed carpet hasn't caught her up yet which I'm very surprised about! Gave It 5 Star For Pet Hair
Using it without downloading app. Have not tried it with app. It moves around randomly. Not in patterns. That is type I was looking for for my house. At least it is cleaning portions of each room before battery dies. It will eventually get rest of rooms on next cleaning. Works good on pet hair. Does not work good on dust in carpets. I see very little dust in waste canister. Mostly all bigger pieces and pet hair. Does not dock at base very good. It is out of alignment with base. I have place it on base myself for it to charge. Does pretty decently

I should have done more research on the product.
I need to stay with it to be sure it doesn't wreck the furniture which it marked up. I won't use it again without applying some kind of bumper. A spot clean takes a diameter of 3 feet. It gets stuck under furniture and doesn't stop running. It needs to be emptied too often. The size of the filter and the need to replace the filter so often is ridiculous. There are no control light houses. My Roomba 540 was so much more appreciated. The only good thing I can say is that none of my fallen- out, long hair doesn't get wrapped around the brushes.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished
