    Small device good performance.

    Used it to replace a similar device that I'd had for years. Increased the bandwidth on a computer that I use for streaming within my home network. Comes with installation disc so I can install on older computers/operating systems.

    Does Not Use RTL8192CU Chip Set

    The product description table lists the adapter chipset as a Realtek RTL8192CU. This is not what is inside the adapter. If you require an adapter with the RTL8192CU chip set for use with the Channel Master DVR+ (or other devices with firmware drivers) you will be returning it. If the chip set is not an issue for you, then the adapter and it's driver may be fine, but I was unable to verify such operation.

    two for two failures

    I ordered these some time ago,first order was lost I guess, and the replacement came but had no need to use them since I used them to troubleshoot other peoples computers, and two for two failures glad I only wasted like $7
