    overall a good machine

    the angle grinder is lightweight but it appeared to have plenty of power for my immediate use of cutting concrete with a diamond blade. In use it was found to have very little vibration and was comfortable to use for an extended period. The soft start is good, no kick on starting with a rapid gaining of full speed. The only criticism is of the on/off switch. Switching on, on my machine anyway, was fiddly and takes quite a lot of force but the more important switching off was easy.

    Poor quality makita

    Having used a wide range of Makita tools for a number of years without any probs whatsoever... I decided to replace my cheapo worn out grinder bought from aldi a few years ago with this Makita...but after less than ten mind of use the motor burned out To the credit of the company I bought it from... Toolstop... They had it repaired free of charge by a local Makita repair specialist immediately...so I would certainly buy from them again...not sure I will buy Makita again though...will have to see how it performs after the repair......

    Great quality

    Excellent machine, my first one broke after 4 years of hard graft, hence wanted same again. This new model has soft start so no initial jerk on start up

    A great all round tool

    This is an excellent grinder and with additional add on blades is versatile. Also with a bench holder is a very good cutting tool. I have also have wire brushes as attachments for cleaning metal and removing rust before painting.

    Small form for small hands.

    Not as powerful(720w) as my other grinder (840w) but it brand new in a box amd registered with Makita for an extended 3 year warranty.
