The text was also utilized by the community that originally collected and studied the Dead Sea Scrolls.While some churches today include Enoch as part of the biblical canon (for example the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church and Eritrean Orthodox Tewahedo Church), other Christian denominations and scholars accept it only as having historical or theological non-canonical interest and frequently use or assigned it as supplemental materials within academic settings to help students and scholars discover or better understand cultural and historical context of the early Christian Church. Love this book & I don't understand the concept of why it's not in the Holy Bible. Especially all the passages it has that is identical to God's other prophet's. It doesn't go off track from the Holy Bible & if anything it is exsactly in line with the Holy Bible from everything I've studied. The links it has in many chapters of the Holy Bible and similar passages is mind blowing on why they took it out. A Must have in my opinion! Especially if you have strong Christian beliefs. Enjoy reading this book about a righteous man of god. Even though his father was Cain, who killed his brother Abel. God can use anyone he chooses. I learned things I never knew. The angels of god showed him a lot of things. But the best part was Enoch never died. He was taken to heaven at the age of 365. That’s how many days in a calendar year.
