    Light, Tough, Quieter than most.

    Nice manageable size and weight. Quieter than most as others have said in their reviews. Plenty tough enough to get the work done. Even has an option to use as a plunge router with the add-on accessory. Just beware when ordering a edge guide, DeWalt says that their guides fit ALL their routers and that is certainly not true for this one. It has to have the DNP618 version, nothing else will fit. Luckily it is 30% more affordable to that's a plus too.

    Great Compact Router for small cuts (butterfly joinery, case in point)

    I have only used the router for one project, but so far, it is outstanding. Easy to use and control for, by hand, cuts and the two led lights in the base that light the work area are genius. I am using a 3/16" router bit that is razor sharp as well. The bit is USA made. Please purchase made in USA as much as possible, my two cents.

    If you're looking for a non fixed base router, look no further

    Small, relatively light, yet powerful and easy to control. Easy to adjust depth. Would be nice if it could run a bit slower yet - lowest is 16000 rpm.

    Great router for freehand or CNC use
