- a***0 (159)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchasePackaging was fine. Shipping ok. Unfortunately the controller was damaged when I plugged it into my solar panel. This could easily have been because I did not have it connected to battery first but it may be underrated for the power. I order a 50 amp unit and a 300 watt panel shouldn't have fried it but did like I said could have been my fault but I honestly think the controller was overloaded.

My only complaint has to be, this is a copy or maybe the other orange label is a copy. Either way, this is the second unit I have had. The first one worked great for a while then burned up for some reason. The reason, I'm sure is due to the back cover, it is not a real heat sink So for this one, I made a real aluminum heat sink back plate and replaced the steel painted cover, it still gets warm but it survived
