That's a big plus. you can use it on a c type charging cable Connected to a power bank with no battery in it. It's got great sensitivity aM and FM. I'm one of those nuts that listens to AM radio late at night. I have a bluetooth boom box with an auxiliary in plug it's really a fancy one. I just use headphone out auxiliary into the Bluetooth speaker and Bam I have an AMFm Boom box
