I have ordered two separate sets of these. Both arrived damaged. The optical lens assembly has plastic threads that are easily stripped during shipping. Shipped in flimsy box wrapped with plastic allows inadequate protection for shipping. I would request the order be placed in a shipping box. I was able to repair this set. Keep in mind you can't expect the Hubble Telescope for $40 but you should receive a usable item. Good luck.

Much better than the pair I have been using all these years. Very sturdy. Comes with a nice carrying case as well. GREAT binoculars for the price or any price!
