    The modem/router the lord uses...

This is a gift from the heavens. Compared to the rental I had from my provider (RCN) this is 50 times better in the speed and broadcast categories. My service speeds have almost tripled compared to what I was using before. Setup with the router is easy, but sadly it's the same Netgear UI that's been around for the last few years. NAS setup was a breeze and MAC filtering wasn't hard to setup. If this lives long I will be a very happy man.

  • Top critical review

Nighthawk C7000 AC 1900, better area coverage, but not so much better.

I really can't say much about extended range over the less expensive models. I does do a bit better, but not outstanding coverage. It fades in and out during peak hours, but not as much as my older cheaper model. Easy set up, and so far it works A ok for a refurb unit. I should have bought a much higher AC model, except the price is way higher. Only way to go is with a high end router add on.

  • The router I've been looking for

Setup was quick and easy. Always connects immediately with computers, TVs, phones, speakers, etc. Has never dropped a connection. Consistently get 117mb speed on wifi connection (with 100mb spectrum service). We stream up to 3 HD TVs and two computers over wifi and 2 gaming computers on e cable. I've tried 3 other brands and this is the only one that works the way it should. This is the router I've been looking for.

  • Small form factor, great coverage

This is an excellent router. Used to replace a cable rented modem, gives whole house wifi coverage. product had fast shipping. Its small form factor fits neatly in most spaces. Currently using with 200mbs internet speed.

  • A Excellent Router for Comcast

This is a great modem/router and it does a fantastic job of uploading and down loading both at very high speeds. I have Comcast and it runs 100%! The only down side is that I have not been able to plug in my home phone into this router because it has 4 Ethernet ports and no phone ports. I am still trying to figure that out but as far as what this product claims it delivers!

  • Economical and good value for home, family and small business use

Checked several models and manufacturers B4 choosing the NetGear Model AC1900. This was the most economical and speed rating for home, family and small business use. Very satisfied and even purchased the same model for our daughter's home wifi network.

  • Quick and easy setup, and lots of decent features.

Quick and easy setup, and lots of decent features. I'm a pretty advanced user, and the setup was pretty easy and automatic. Configuration does a good job of hiding the "hard stuff" unless you need it, but making the day-to-day settings easy to find. Highly recommend.

  • Best modem I've ever used

The netgear c7000 is an excellent choice for a modem of high speed internet. I currently used Xfinity and for whatever reason I pay for 100 mbps and could only reach max 60 mbps but once I bought and called them to activate it I've been seeing over 100 mbps and everything is working fine. I purchased mines used so be careful and make sure that the modem has a clean esn because if the last person who had it owes money on it then they won't active it for you. Also if your experiencing issues with restarting make sure that the power supply is a 12v 3.5amp the person who sold me mines sent it with a 12 1.5 amp and it kept resetting to factory settings every couple of minutes but after purchasing one I haven't had that issue again. If you Get one you'll love it.

  • Multifunction device

Combines cable mode, router, Ethernet switch & WFi all in one box. Range on the WiFi is good, 802.11ac. Router allows port forwarding & maintenance from the WAN side. Downside is that Netgear does not seem to have a successor for it.

  • Easy setup, works great.

The setup was easy for this router. The thing that took the longest was registering the MAC with my cable internet provider. After that, it booted and was working within seconds. I easily connected with the PC and reset the admin password and the network name and encryption key. I replaced an older model ARRIS modem that would degrade over time and require reboot.
