Today was the CQWW contest and 10m, 15m, and 20m were insanely busy. This antenna received really well, but with most stations using significantly more than my IC-705's measly 10W, I didn't stand much of a chance breaking the pileup. The antenna was resonant (<1.5:1) on the voice portions of 40m, 20m, and 15m, and about 2:1 on 10m (28.3-28.5) and <1.5:1 up at 29.7MHz. not sure the ground rod does much!
