    Much better than expected

    I have torn tendons in my ankle which should be surgically repaired. While playing golf my ankles are unstable, especially on side hill shots and in uneven ground. I bought this brace since it was inexpensive (in case it didn't work) and had food reviews. Since receiving the brace and playing golf, I can't believe how much difference it makes. It is light weight and there is no problems putting my shoes on over it. It is so good, that I even use it in everyday activities. I am 6'1" 300, so if it works on me, it should work on anybody. I am buying another one for my golf bag, so I can leave this one at home. I will say that you need to make sure it is on straight, or the side pieces can dig into your ankle. I don't normally write reviews, but this one was worth doing/ Bill

    Odd location of wrap around straps...Wish it came in different sizes instead of one size fits all...

    I liked this as it was more comfortable than my lace up ones. However, I felt the wrap around portion served no purpose at all as it is in the wrong place. It doesn't wrap around the ankle area but rather,mid foot to above the ankle. This only serves in making it bulky when putting on a shoe. Since I purchased these for around the house it works fine for me as I wear them with a house slipper.

    Stability

    I have had ankle problems for 5 years when a torn ligament in my ankle healed too loosely to hold my ankle stable. I have tried them all: ace bandages (roll, roll, roll), hard braces (ouch), slide on braces (squirm). For ease and practicality, this one is the best. I can easily put it on, adjust it or remove it anytime I want. I can adjust how much support I want. I can loosen it when my foot swells. And it keeps my ankle warm and comfortable. I have 2 of these: when I've washed one, I still have one to wear while the other one dries.

    Helps several ankle issues

    I needed this stabilizer for several issues with my ankle,and it seems to really be helping all issues when I take my walks,and walk in general. Would recommend for persons with ankle issues to try. Good value too!
