Not bad for the price (£70)
I paid £70 for this desk. I wouldn't advise paying any more for it.
In terms of style, I love it. To find a similar design at higher end furniture places, was in the hundreds.
What's wrong with it:
– It's a bit rickety, the top desk area is quite heavy so it does wobble.
– It was awkward to put together, as little things didn't quite align and the drawer brackets where fixed together without any instruction on how to separate them.
– I had to fiddle with all the joints quite a lot to get everything to sit flush.
– The finish on the white lacquer was a bit rough in places
– The wood on the legs is very soft
– The nails were a very soft metal and you had to be careful not to wear the thread away
Whats right with it:
– But the price you know it's not high end, though I saw the same one on Ebay for over £100. If I'd paid that I'd have been disapointed
– It looks smart, I love how it looks and it's very elegant
– You can fit quite a lot in the drawers
– It's a nice hight
– Provides a generous working space
