Totally worth the extra $$
A good quality tool for crimping really small connectors (e.g. Molex Picoblade). Prior to this purchase, I had been using cheaper crimpers to crimp slightly larger connectors. But they weren't fine enough to crimp 1.25mm spacing connectors. As it turns out, these PA-09 crimpers also handled the larger connectors better than the cheap crimpers. A very nice crimper
I think these pliers are very precise and feel solid and enduring. Crimping such small parts is now just a strain for my eyes - as long as I take my time crimping, the result is perfect. Item is slightly different from photos, but it's fine
Item received is a bit different from pictures (latch, engraving, axle screw and nut), but according to JP manufacturer's website (which is not easy to find, old version is still listed on global site main tool page and product catalog) it is a slightly refreshed version and it is currently manufactured in Taiwan (see picture). So item is original, crimps perfectly, highly recommended.

Great non-OEM alternative
I wanted an open-barrel crimper without having to pay big bucks for an original Molex. I've used Engineer tools before and, while they're not indestructible like some Knipex or other expensive brands, they're stylish, comfortable to use and produce great results.
