    Great budget router

    I recently upgraded my internet speed from 100mbps to 400mpbs. Despite this, my wifi speed was maxing out at about 140mbps. After doing some research, I realized that my old 8x4 modem wasn't built to handle those type of speeds. I upgraded my modem, but the speeds were still topping out at about 140mbps. After doing further research, I realized that the problem may lie in my old AC1200 router. I found this router on sale as a certified refurbished product. It has blown away my expectations. I routinely get speed tests in the 450-480mbps range, which is well above my plan speed of 400mbps. I get strong throughput throughout most of my 2,500 square foot home. I've had no connection issues thus far. Setup is fast and easy, taking about 5 minutes with the tether app. The router also has ...

    Good router for basic needs

    Relatively inexpensive, good router. Found a few disadvantages though: 1. Range is shorter than some other (Netgear) routers' 2. No WiFi 6 support 3. Built-in VPN cannot be set up on 443 port, only allows >1000

    Extends our home network.

    The TP-Link Archer A7 wireless Dual Band router was very easy to set up, basically plug and play. Adding the password protection was simple. I am using it in my office, since my office is located in a "blind spot" for our home network. I connected the router via an ethernet cable ran through the attic from our broadband router. My connection is quick, and the connection can be shared so it has been good for the entire household.

    Works great. Great value & a lot of features!!!

    Works great. I love the AUTO REBOOT feature where I can program it to reboot at 3am each night. This clears the buffers. I can also control it from my android interface. Great value & a lot of features!!!

    Great value

    This is working great for my needs, which were very basic. I just needed a dual band router to assume that role from my crappy ISP provided integrated modem/router. (2.4G only) I also needed a USB port useful for attaching network storage. This fit the bill perfectly at a very reasonable price. Internet speeds on wifi are now much more stable than before (even on 2.4G).
