    i bought the brush for my yellow lab, the brush itself works like it says and seems to be of good quality but it doesn't seem to be the brush for labs. at this time of year the hair just falls off of him but the brush doesn't seem to be pulling it off of him so good. i may just need another style of brush.

    Dethatches the dog really well

    Have gone back to using my old slicker brush.

    It does not take off as much fur as my regular slicker (non-self cleaning). Also, it is larger and a bit awkward for smaller areas on my Ragdoll cat.
