Lightweight with great features. Give me a call.
It is lightweight with great features and fits me to a tee. There is one problem and that is a clunking sound coming from the right pedal, I think. I have a hearing deficit and this presents a problem at times. Has there been any other complaints regarding this type of noise in the pedals? If so, give me a call so that this can be rectified. Clunky but solid unit
I had an older airdyne but had to sell because I moved across country. I wish I had kept the old. This new airdyne is clunky. It makes clunking sounds when in use. I live in a condo above neighbors and they can hear the noise when I'm on the bike. I feel bad for them. The bike is solid and looks good. Other than the noise it's great. Great value
I just had knee replacement and I needed something I can work with. This bike is a good value and just what I needed for a leg stretch. It keeps my knee going until I am recovered enough to do more walking. The seat is very hard to keep tight but we are working on that. Pretty Good Unit
Not as much air resistance at lower RPMs as I expected - comparing this to AirDyne I use in physical therapy. Good quality. Easy to assemble. The digital readout monitor is pretty good too - gives speed, time, distance, rpm, calories used & heart rate (i use non-coded Polar chest strap). Schwinn AD6 is well made & gives great exercise, but seat position is poor.
The Schwinn AD6 is a great workout machine. Works out legs and arms. The build quality is excellent. The only negative for us (husband and wife) is the seat is too far away from the machine arms, sliding us forward and forcing us to sit on the narrow section of the seat. That is very uncomfortable after 5-10 minutes of exercise. Larger people (over 5'10") may find it OK.... I have ordered a new seat but the distance can not be fixed without a welder to reset the post.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Quick Workout
I love it. Compared to the old airdyne I used to ride, it's much quieter and the wind coming up on you is not noticeable and I don't have the optional wind screen. I ride a bike in the summer months but I was having a hard time getting an aerobic workout in during the winter. I ride it 23 minutes at a time 5 days a week figuring that gets me 20 minutes in my aerobic zone and thanks to TiVo I can watch a 30 minute show skipping commercials at the same time. I am amazed at how out of shape my 52 year old arms had gotten. I hate lifting weights and my legs have stayed strong through cycling but my arms are now burning after my rides.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great for tight spaces and a budget.
I used an older model airdyne for my cardiac therapy. It looked like something from an exercise machine graveyard. BUT, it was a great workout and got me back up and running. The therapists said it is as tough as you want it to be, and they were right. Great workout. Solid construction, easy to put together. This will last a long time. A excellent piece of exercise equipment! As a former distance runner who was forced to give up running because of all the wear and tare on my knees, this bike gives me the same benefits of running without the abuse to my knees. I bought this bike used and I have had to replace the seat and the console but that was no problem I called Schwinn and got the parts I needed.
