YSL Black Opium - a classic touch
This Yves Saint Laurent fragrance has a touch of 'classic' to it. Black Opium (despite it’s name) is ideal as it has ‘staying power’ but is a fresher, more citrus fragrance than the usual Opium by YSL. The heart of the fragrance has surprising berry fruit aromas which bring a sweet fresh depth to the initial floriental top notes. Perfect for intensity.

Ideal trial size
Bought this size so that I could try it out before getting a larger size. Glad I did as it is not quite what I expected although it has a pleasant smell. Prefer Rive Gauche. Ideal if you like something a bit spicier and it is long lasting. Great trial size.

Not original Opium
This perfume is not the same as the original Opium which I loved. AlthoughBlack Opium is distinctive and long lasting, and I’m glad I have tried it, I would not buy again.
