    So far so good. Great price on a great factory plug and play unit. Kit came programmedto the vehicle by vin, shipping was very quick, and it came with all the tools you need for installation. Since this is a factory head unit installation is a snap and their are very few things you need to change. If you purchase the unit with built-in navigation you'll need to use their supplied antenna, other than that change out your USB port with their supplied upgrade. Great seller, great product, thanks!

    Easy install and everything worked for converting Sync 2 to Sync 3. One thing to note is the description indicates you can change the background wall paper if you email them the image. I took that to mean this APIM would come jailbroken with the image I wanted loaded which was a deciding factor in picking this seller over others. Turns out they don't do that and just point you to the instructions on how to jailbreak the APIM yourself. Not a big deal but something I think they should clarify.

    Great products & service

    I was going to try to do this on my own with junkyard parts and a programming cable, but it seems people are aware of the value of these and yank them immediately. So I went this route, and I'm glad I did because they not only programmed it, making it plug & play, but they also informed me of the extra parts I needed for my particular car (a gps antenna, a new USB hub mount (which is cheap and doesn't really securely lock in place), and a new USB hub (a genuine Ford part) as the old USB/SD/RCA hub was incompatible (I actually forgot to put it in before starting it up for the first time and it said "USB hubs not supported, please disconnect"). I've used it a couple of weeks now and it's been great. I also picked up a wireless android auto device that plugs into the USB port, so I've got ...

    I am happy with the product performance so far. All functions are working - has been 5 days now. My experience for installing was fine, using the right YouTube video for my 2013 F150 Platinum. I Could not have done it w/o finding the video for my trim level. It is quite a process as you start at the glove box and work your way over to the center console to switch out the screens. Add to this installing a new antenna (easy, just more screws and steps) and swapping out the phone plug in and USB port in my center console for one that is compatible with Apple Car Play--again, not difficult, just another step. The most difficult part for me was the location of some of the screws - having to get way up under the dash at an angle and have only a quarter turn clearance for my socket wrench (I ...

The kit came with all the parts needed, even the tools to do the work. As a surprise bonus, they also included a screen protector for the radio touchscreen. They included a step by step instruction guide (but I found a few videos on YouTube that were easier to follow). They provided instructions on how to message them via WhatsApp for final setup. When I messaged them it was the middle of the night in China, so it took them about 6 hours to reply. After that, they were very responsive!     Highly Recommend this Upgrade Over 4DTech

    Amazing kit. I would recommend buying your own dash removal tools because these ones are very brittle, but thats not what you're paying for here. You're paying for an incredible upgrade from SYNC 2. All the OEM parts, wiring, programming done for you. I was between this screen upgrade and the one from 4DTech, and I went with this one. The stereo turned out exactly the same as if I paid the $1800 from 4DTech. I highly recommend this company for OEM stereo needs. I'm quite thrilled with the quality and result!

    Turns a 2011 vehicle into a 2021 vehicle.

    Having one of the first ford vehicles to have SYNC 2 (2011 Ford Explorer Limited), this update is incredible and well worth the money, especially with how valuable used cars have become lately. Simply Michigan was really helpful in instructing me what I would need and it was plug & play. Now I have Apple CarPlay! Protip, be very careful removing the bezels, they are very fragile and nearly impossible to find replacement, (Mine was already broken before the install and I was lucky enough to find a junkyard part to use after I installed SYNC 3).
