We like it. Easy to operate. The wide louver system is a great feature.
Still early yet however, it's day two (2) since we purchased the Ionmax ION 632 Desiccant Dehumidifier. We found the machine to live up the recommendations and the instant effect we had in our house. It has a mid-range noise level equivalent to living by the sea-side with waves coming into shore, not so bad really. On the first night it pulled over two (2) liters of moisture out of our house, which was quite a surprise. The setting was for eight (8) hours @ forty percent (40%) Our main issue is to eliminate the mold and mildew we are experiencing. Ionmax632 is the master of all dehumidifiers
I like the various functions on the machine, it's very slim and stylish in the home. Comes with its own, short hose for continuous drainage. The cord wrap is reusable so don't throw it away! I don't know where the water comes from but it's filling up the bucket fast as. The product manual is also easy to read and follow. Most beneficial purchase ever!
I could only have imagined how much this dehumidifier would have improved my health ~ it is amazing! I recently had a leak for 18 months from the unit above into the slab under my bedroom and the smell was revolting. A few minutes after turning on the IONMAX the smell would disappear, and the smell would go away for days after it had been on for a few hours. Amazing! Why did it take me so long to buy one of these?! Living in rural Tasmania, it's very cold in this valley. House is damp without heat pump, column and bar heater going non-stop through these months. Received this little gem and viola!, The house is dry and no longer have the heaters on overnight, definitely saving on my next power bill, walking around in tee shirts and barefoot! Ran it constantly for the first few days and was stunned at the water it pulled out of the place. Now after nearly two weeks, just running it for a few hours at night and an hour in the morning. You can hear the water trickling into the tank. The air is so much easier to breathe and only need the heaters on for an hour or so in the morning and same at night, but just on low now. No damp air to be drying out. Haven't used the Laundry dry, but imagine it will be spot on. It's nice and light to move as well. Really can't say enough good about this dehumidifier and will more than likely buy one for the garage in the future as it's very damp out there. I did find it a bit noisey when first using it, this house being a small cottage. It's louder than the fridge. But you do fall asleep with it on. I highly recommend this product! Lightweight and easy to use. Could do with a more secure seal on the water container which spills easily as the water swishes from side to side when removing.
