We bought this unit because our upstairs bedrooms were pretty muggy since our A/C doesn't properly cool the house. This thing makes a big difference! Upstairs gets up to 82 degrees during the day when we set the A/C downstairs to 78, and now it feels more comfortable upstairs despite the heat. It does a good job of keeping the upstairs around 38% humidity (in Florida so super humid all the time). Also, this order was process and shipped super fast! Would purchase again from this seller! A+++

Item is refurbished, not open box. Still fantastic condition though and works very well. My box has packing slips for patio furniture inside, idk why. Unit runs great though and I'm very pleased. First time I ordered this it was never shipped, probably not seller's fault though. They use Fedex, which is by far the sketchiest delivery service. Fantastic deal though, you won't find a better price for this good of a dehumidifier, I really recommend it.

    It is working.

    It seems to be working. Haven't quite figured out or understanding the different settings. I have only had one week. Time will tell. Wish tank was larger. They do have larger models but felt 1500 SQ feet was enough for the size of my house. Approximately 1200 SQ feet. It's cheaper made however everything is. My old dehumidifiers had large tanks and built a lot more sturdier. But they were older more than 20 years. In fact they still worked except their auto shutoff wasn't working and unfortunately they don't make those dehumidifiers or parts anymore.

    It works great, but not so well for my purpose.

    The pros it lowers the humidity and removes moisture from the air very well. The cons is the discharge air is hot and it raises the temp very high in the tiny room I have used it in. I thought lowering the humidity would make the room "feel" lower than the actual room temp. The other thing going is the record high temps here in Florida. I think it works great overall; however, I think it is my fault I over estimated my expected use and results. A very fair price. Great seller.

    Great Product; Does the Job

    So far, this has been one of my best purchases for the home. In less than a week, the overall humidity level has dropped 15 percent, and the aging central air is working less hard during this excessive heat/humidity period. (I live in the Kentucky River Valley, and the summers here are hot and humid.) The appliance arrived on time and was packaged well. After reading the manual and removing the cord holder from the tank, I plugged in the unit and it starting working. I like the water level indicator because I can anticipate within the half hour when the tank will need to be emptied. The unit is simple to use. Had I an inside drain, I would use the continuous run time to avoid emptying the tank so often. It runs rather quietly and does the job. Just to remind other users: The unit will emit ...

    For $60. Amazing!!

    I mean for the price it's fantastic if you're using it heavy. I recommend having a hose for permanent draining instead of using the water receptacle little small but it's super effective and amazing price. It got here fast and undamaged overall you ain't going to find much better deal for a dehumidifier

    Love this product!

    I really love this product. My boyfriend's room was very humid because there was no A/C. We were worried about mold since we live in Florida. But after buying this product, the room temperature is so cool, even without the A/C. I highly recommend this product!
