EXCELLENT TRANSFER OF A "CLASSIC" FILM
Quality on the film transfer is the best I've seen! All wires and bad backrounds stand out like I've never seen (and I've seen this movie over twenty-five times since 1962, and proudly owned a Super 8 sound movie print back in the 70s). Superb! The reason I don't give the DVD "5" STARS is because the companion documentary, "Flying Saucers Over Hollywood", while entertaining and featuring many of the cast members from the film, is simply too amateurish. And the transfer from standard definition video leaves a LOT to be desired. If you're a fan of this "classic" as I have been for the last 56 years, then this Wade Williams version is THE one to own. No better print quality so far.

Leaves a lot to be desired. The character acting is certainly that of a "B" moviie. Must like this genre to appreciate the film.
Very bad acting, slow, Vampira sucks (get it). Plot is OK. Animation is probably as good as the time frame in which it was produced, but still leaves a lot to be desired. If your in to this type of movie and enjoy a few laughs, it is entertaining to a point.

So Bad it's Good!
This film is so bad that it is very funny! The sets are cheap, flimsy and amateurish and the acting mostly pitiful. Knowing the history of the director, Ed Wood (see the excellent movie of the same name starring Johnny Depp), it is surprising that this film was ever produced. But I do admire the director's determination in making any movie at all, with his limited funds.
