- 7***a (30)- Feedback left by buyer.Past yearVerified purchaseIt's a great part and well designed but it leaks and the OEM one did not. Maybe I did something wrong. I'm going to try and loosen it more to stop the leak. I over tightened and it leaked bad so I hand tightened it but it still leaks. The hole in the poly tank is right at the radius on my MEP 803a so maybe its a tank proplem but overall a great idea.Reply from: callmecolt- Feedback replied by seller callmecolt.- Feedback replied by seller callmecolt.Sounds like you didn't get it seated right or/and over tighten & tore the o-ring to seal.Like the OEM one, it's but a few ft lbs. If you didn't remove the tank, it may seem tight but the nut will hit the metal body. If the tank was damaged getting the old one out, it can cause problems but the larger o-ring will usually seal. I've sold 100's of these kits, one other person had it keep leaking & it was due to them tightening to much & tank damage. They used a banjo seal ultimately.

I ordered the fuel tank well nut upgrade Thursday 10-31-24 in the evening and had it in my hands in Florida Monday 11-4-24. This item is 100 times better than the original part design. I will definitely save his store on ebay for any other parts we may need for our 803A 10kw generator.
