Dell doesn't make printers anymore so this is new but older stock, which may or may not be covered by a Dell warranty. I asked Dell for a wireless adapter (noticed later this was an optional part) which they no longer sell and seemed surprised there were new printers still being sold. It took a couple weeks to find (not in US) and adapter and receive it. for around $55+ us total. Paper tray was a real strange experience and seemed to be stuck a couple times initially. After forcing it in (ran out of ideas) it seemed to slide in against a spring force and now seems to function like a normal paper tray with zero force needed. After a few paper jams from probably poor paper quality, it seems to work great now. I hope it lasts. The documentation, although written in about 15 languages, is pretty worthless, relying on a few "caveman pictures" to convey the important steps. Go right to the manual on the disc for slightly more info. I would rate it 5 stars if I knew it would last for several years, even with the issues, because of the low cost and high quality of the printing. Read full review

This my second Dell laser paper (1st one damaged by lighting surge). It is very easy to setup for my home network. It is quite heavy but definitely a work horse grade printer. The color of the print is accurate and vivid.
