Received last week as a replacement for another brand that was delivered damaged. When I opened this box checked it out and found slight damage to cabinet but nothing serious. Just by looking at it oozes quality, nice sturdy cabinet, a guard for the coil fins, I like the digital control panel. Put it in the window on 5/17 ran it for awhile it's the quietest window AC I have ever had. As it is not really that hot out yet will save judgement on how it cools, but I don't think that will be a problem. Very bad purchase on my part.
I bought this air conditioner specifically because it emphasized quietness as one of its priorities. It's not at all quiet. In fact it's louder than my 10 year old Window Frigidaire. The "night light" is a bright piercing blue. I have to cover it up or leave the machine off.

Awesome little unit
I bid on what was indicated, a used unit. When it arrived, the packaging was very very bad but the unit inside was brand new! It operates as intended, all features work find, however, I have yet to try the wifi. I'm stoked!

REALLY COOL!!
I've always wanted to buy a Friedrich a/c and I finally found one at an excellent price -- this particular a/c retails over $300+ so this is an excellent deal. Friedrich is the best on the market hands down. Now -- I love this unit. I installed it in my office/room which can swelter in the summer. Install was a breeze, and they provided all insulation materials. I set it on Auto -- the a/c immediately displayed the room temperature then it cooled the room down by 10° in minutes, at one point I turned it off cause it got too cold. Been running ever since and it regulates itself.
