Great piece of equipment
The tippman 98 custom is such a great marker. It is rugged enough to take the abuse of competition yet remains accurate and fast enough to be a serious competitor. The maintenance of this marker is so easy and the customization features availiable for it are nearly endless. Great Paintball Marker for Beginner or Advanced
I got this gun due to many high recommendations towards it saying only good things, and I am not disappointed in the least. This marker model has been around for a while, and they've only improved it over the years. Basically, the Tippman 98 custom is durable, accurate, a good price that's easy to find, and highly customizable--maybe even the most customizable marker out there. Also, it's pretty easy to maintain, disassemble, adjust, and repair. The "platinum" model version of this gun is what I got, and what that has is just a few minor hardware and aesthetic improvements--which in my opinion are worth any few extra bucks you might pay.
