Affordable luxury
Bought these refurbished at about 1/4 retail price. They looked brand new. At first, I couldnt get them to connect. A google search showed that this was a common problem with an easy fix. After getting them set up, I was amazed by the sound quality, even though I already owned a set of earbuds and knew skullcandy would sound good. I was blown away by the noise cancelling feature. I had never experienced the technology before and thought it sounded gimmicky. I was wrong, it's very legit. I have no idea how it works, but it's awesome. So happy I bought these, and they're still a bargain at full price.

Sound great but built poorly. Expected more for the price!
TL;DR: If so-so ANC is more important to you than build quality or comfort, you should get these. Otherwise, get the Hesh 3 as a less expensive and superior headphone. Let's start with the sound. The noise cancelling on these is good, especially for the price point. There is a slight hum and a kind of intrusive EQ but they effectively isolate the music. The "Active" part of ANC is questionable, as loud or sudden noises were basically projected into the headphone, but that is acceptable at this price point. Overall it was okay but not worth buying them just for this perk. The sound is a little more punchy and balanced than a lot of other Skullcandy stuff. Great mids, and fairly quick response. They're the best-sounding Skullcandy headphone I've ever used, but by a somewhat small margin. All in all, a very neutral headphone with a slight preference for mids. HOWEVER, these lack in build quality and comfort big-time. The cups are extremely small, as is the headband. I have smaller-than-average ears for an adult male, and these cramped my ears (depth is okay but far too small a cup). The band was also very small, requiring me to adjust to the biggest setting. Normally, even with other Skullcandy headphones, I widen only a few notches. I got a headache after an hour of wearing these from the sheer clamping force and unforgiving earcup padding. I guess they'd be fine if you were a woman, or still growing. But I wouldn't recommend them for anyone with average-dude-sized head or above. Another noteworthy point is that mine broke after just a week of use. Could be a bad unit, but they are creaky to put on and feel cheap all around. While these sound more balanced and responsive than others Skullcandy has designed recently, I personally don't find the ANC worth the discomfort. Instead, I would recommend the Hesh 3 over these. As a quick comparison and overview, so you know why: Hesh 3 is in the same product line as the Venues and the Skullcandy Crushers, but are the least expensive of the three ($100 retail). I would like to mention first and foremost that the Hesh 3 and the Venues are physically identical in all ways that matter. And the Hesh comes in WAY more colors. Hesh 3's highs are very enhanced and instruments can drown out vocals occasionally. Mids are minimal, but the bass response is above average. Because of this they sound good at high volumes and make a good inexpensive (and identical) replacement for the Venues. They have minimal leak, and MUCH better build quality. My pair haven't broken after two years of continuous use and travel, which alone makes them worth the price. In the end, I wouldn't recommend the Venues because they can't decide whether to sound good, feel good, or be good at ANC. I found they perform okay at all of them, but okay isn't good enough at $180. For a cheaper replacement with the same style, and that feel great, I advise the Hesh 3.

Good Sound
Sound good but wish I could customize. Battery lasts me as long as I need but I wish they had an auto power off mode. Best deal considering cost vs feature vs sound. Tile feature is nice because it will work even when the headphones are powered off. After sampling 10 different headphones I decided on these. Bose 700 being my favorite but the cost kept me back. Beats Studio3 and Sont 1000XM3 were nice but the cost. These gave a comparable sound at a considerably lower price so they won.

I had the Hesh3 for nearly year then gave it to my son and I upgraded to “Venue” and it s fabulous...real good and great to wear...100% happy
Sound is fantastic,really comfortable, battery last 5/6 hours and only takes 10 mins to fully recharge...easy to set up on different bluetooth equipments....noise reduction is the best one i ever own...highly recommend for the price compare to others more expensive...and also for the quality...i upgraded from the Hesh model with was also fabulous....the box it came in is great especially if you travel and want to keep safe from breaking or damage...I can not fault this headphone in any way...not a single complaint....definitly a must have

exceeded expectations
Very impressed with the quality and comfort of these headphones. As refurbs, there is no obvious issues. The packaging, literature and carry case were all there and like new. They arrived in the time promised. these are better than I expected. The headphones are light weight, over ear and fold nicely into the case. The noise cancelling feature is impressive as well. I bought these primarily for when I travel by air, and they work great.

Well worth the investment
Came from a smoking home, it actually had the whole floor smelling like cigarettes. I stuck the headphones, the headphone vase, In a small box with our ozone generator for an hour and a half, after which the smell was gone. Then came time to try out the headphones, they paired very easily to my Samsung s20 and listened to a variety of different music. As expected I heard every sound in the room, I then turned on the ANC feature and it was like magic, 80+ % of the ambient noise disappeared, I found the phones to be very immersive and the highs, midrange and lows was clean and crisp with out any bleeding. I'm throughly pleased.

Quality sound with noise cancellation
Great sound with noise cancellation. I use these to listen to my stories during my city bus ride to work. Full sound quality with no noise interuption from city sounds.
