Easy set up and easy to use!
Very nice mower! Very easy set up right out of the box..just fold the handle up and lock it. Put in the oil and its ready to go. It fired up on the first pull. I have used it several times and it is a great mower. Cuts cleanly and without effort. I love the feature whereby the drive wheels unlock as soon as you pull it backward. Unlike most self propelled mowers, this one unlocks easily and is easy to move backward. I have no negative comments or thoughts about this purchase whatsoever. Not quite a Honda Product
Two things need improvement. The first is that it is very noisy. there is no throttle control so it is always running top speed to get blade performance. Without a headset you will have a headache. 2nd is the "bag" needs another handle at the back of the bag. If you flip the bag off the mower it will become quite hard to dup as the material is slick and hard to get a hold of for dumping.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Relatively light, fast and effortless.
I have only had this mower a few days and have cut our 4500 sq. foot lawn once (about 40 minutes), so this is a very early review. We have a corner lot with lots of maneuvering and this two wheel (rear) drive mower is relatively light and easy to use. We have thick St.Augustine grass and the mower can be set up to a 4" cut elevation, which is more than sufficient for this type of grass. I mulch and do not bag. I did notice that the rear eject port did have some grass in it that was hard to hose out when I cleaned the mower. Because I was mulching and not bagging I would have expected NO grass to be in that area because that port is sealed off when mulching. However moving the clip director lever while cleaning it did help to clear the residual clippings caught there. Before this I had a Husqvarna all wheel drive with a Honda engine, overkill for the size of lot, but I didn't know better. It lasted 6 years. Ended up with a loose rear drive wheel and was hard to control. I figured a fresh purchase was better value than a possibly costly repair. Perhaps I was wrong. This two wheel drive Honda feels lighter (it is) and is less fatiguing to use. Additionally, the Smart Drive control (at the hands) is very easy to use and provides all the speed (and more) that I will need. So, its a positive vote from me and I'm actually looking forward to cutting the lawn next time. Hopefully it will provide years of trouble-free service.
