It works! I have shrimp on my aquarium so I can't use chemicals to kill snails as it would also kill my shrimp. Bait traps are useless but this gizmo makes it easy to remove the snails as they move up the front glass. It would be great if the aquarium plant suppliers killed the snails in the first place! Thank you for this solution.

    Efficient and easy to use snail catcher

    This is an excellent alternative to introducing snail eating fish or chemicals. It’s easy to use and in the few weeks I’ve had it I have cleared easily more snails than I was catching by hand. Not the cheapest solution but definitely effective with no risk of trapping fish or shrimps.

    Works well

    Does the job of removing snails on the glass well. As with all "hoovers" it cannot pick-up in corners. The extendable arm could have been done with being a few inches longer so you don't need to put your hand into the water (we only have 70l tank).

    Brilliant, really does work well

    I wish about this years ago it's a really good way of scooping those blighters up. I tried so many different methods in the past that just didn't work well. I avoid chemicals as I have shrimp as well as fish. Of course it doesn't get all of them but if you got some assassin snails also they might mop up the rest

    Great!

    This has made catching snails so much easier. So long as the snails are on the glass, this will easily catch them. The main down side is the length of the handle which means I often have to get my arm wet reaching down to the bottom of my aquarium, but that's not a big problem.
