Love a perfume that stays with me all day
While looking for a great buy on perfumes, I saw the Burberry London Classic ad and immediately noticed it was a very light color. Over-the-years, dark color perfumes have never appealed to me...they were too strong or the smell would sometimes make me feel sick until I could wash it off. I had never smelled this perfume, just went by the color and I was right! This has got to be one of the best I've ever purchased anywhere. It has a very expensive smelling/captivating and "what's the name of that perfume your wearing," fragrance! My husband noticed it first, which is highly unusual he would even comment. I've had many women, as well as men, ask me about this perfume. It's the perfume I reach for when I'm getting dressed to leave the house. Fake! Don't buy
At first spray it smelled like the real thing. Burberry for Women is a classic scent that I have worn and had in my collection for about 15 years. Literally one spray and it lasts all day. Not this bottle. 3 sprays to even smell and gone within a few hours. And the cap is NOT the real cap it comes with. I didn't even know they made knock-off perfumes. Or I guess I would recognize right away if it was. Which I kind of did. The box looked different than my last bottle, but I dismissed it, then the cap. This is my favorite all around perfume and I've worn it for years. It's lightly sweet with fruity and spicey notes.Some say it's a casual fragrance, but I wear it for all different occasions. Smells great, for a little while
While the package did arrive as described, factory sealed in box, I was a little disappointed to see it labeled as parfum but that the fragrance didn't last very long. I find that I need to reapply at least once in an 8 hour period. Synthetic Smelling-Plus Peach Smell.. Unfortunately, lasts all day. There is a strong chemical, fake smell to this fragrance-the peach smell comes in later. There is a slight faded flower smell to it. I'm very disappointed. People raved about this on a beauty site-it does not go well with my body chemistry.
