light weight
I used it and when I went to do the wide grip pullups the bolts that came with it are sort of a carriage type. The heads snapped off of two of the one's on the outside. I replaced them with regular hex head 1/4" type bolts and that did the trick. The padded hand holds are very comfortable and I bought for the built in grips and the multi grip type of set up. For the price it is alright, but it does flex a bit when you first go up to pull, but it appears to be strudy enough to support me at 210lbs 6' tall.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

CHEAP POOR QUALITY PRODUCT
Ordered this pull up bar. Very poor quality. Cheap materials. After putting together and installing the piece. I could not even do one pull up, as soon as I started pulling up the heads of 2 bolts just snapped and broke off, almost ended up falling on my knees. I'm 175 pounds and the bolts just snapped poor quality once again. Have pics to prove it. I'm not going to even bother returning, shipping will cost as much as the unit. I bought this for my boys, but I have ended up using it as well. Easy to assemble, but I used my own tools rather than the wrench they provided. There were no real instructions but the picture was pretty self explanatory. Make sure you use the safety brackets and make sure your wall/doorway is sturdy. The pull up bar is great! It has multiple handles and gives you a lot of different options for any workout you are doing pull up wise. I'd recommend getting your own wrenches for construction and maybe have a clamp, or someone to hold pieces while you screw them together. also, make sure you have a door that is will fit in(about 6 inches on both sides.) Sturdy and do the work! The only issue I have is that the pieces on the handle part that goes aside the door frame is slightly smaller than the door frame which makes the bar slightly slanted and is damaging the door frame. Good Quality for an AFFORDABLE price!
I was extremely skeptical of this product when I first opened the package and saw about 13 pieces that (in my mind) could NOT hold up a 185lb man on a flimsy door frame, without cracking the frame or falling on my back. Very much to my surprise the Pull up bar holds up VERY well and feels sturdy and secure. I am a father of 3 beautiful kids who doesn't enjoy wasting money on things that DO NOT work when I could spend it on them. So if you're anything like me, I'm here to tell you this product DOES work! Great product at a fair price
It might be a little difficult to assemble for those who aren't mechanically inclined. It took me a little over a half an hour and I had to redo a couple of things where I failed to use the lockwashers. I weigh 175 and felt very secure doing pullups on it. Once assembled I was impressed by how sturdy it was. They supply a little cheapo wrench but I'd recommend using a 10mm socket to assemble. One word of caution though, be careful not to overtighten the nuts. The bolts are good quality but with a wrench it would be easy to over torque and damage the bolts. I suspect that is what happened to the fellow who wrote a 1 star review claiming two of the bolts snapped.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
