I used RG8x coax, and paired with an mAT-30 tuner. I've made contacts as far away as 2,500 miles (maybe farther), in every direction. If you just want to get on the air quick, or maybe have HOA issues, this antenna will do the job. I bought a 2nd one, in case I want to do some POTA, or other mobile work.
